Upcoming 2006 Conference on Health Care for Diverse Populations

Learn more about providing culturally competent health care by attending a conference in Seattle, Washington. The conference on Quality Health Care for Culturally Diverse Populations has been called the ?“preeminent conference
national conference on quality health care for diverse populations?” by previous participants.

Pre-conference sessions will focus on skill building for conference participants, include utilizing interpreters as cultural mediators in the health care setting. Another pre-conference session will address strategies and practical information about providing language services (both interpreters, translators) at a manageable cost for your organization. Pre-conference sessions will take place on October 17, 2006. The conference itself will begin on October 18, and end on October 20, 2006.
