South Norfolk Neigborhood Watch Group

The South Norfolk Neighborhood Watch Group was established in June of 2008. Starting off as four concerned citizens in a neighbor's living room, they decided it was time to take back their neighborhood that had detoriated into a crime infested area. Today with over 150 members, South Norfolk Neighborhood Watch has grown to be one of the largest watch groups in the City of Chesapeake.

The mission of the South Norfolk Neighborhood Watch is to promote the education of residents and businesses in South Norfolk in areas of crime prevention and quality of life and to assist in the safeguarding of the community, its residents and their proerties through voluntary activities including public information, problem solutions and addressing problems and concerns.
