I am interested in volunteering, but I can't make the orientation meeting. What should I do?

we need to get a head count for the trip reservations (e.g. air fares, hotels, etc), so if you are serious about going:
1) e-mail me your name (as it appears in your passport---and if you don't have one yet, start the application NOW and get us the name you will be using); date of birth, passport # and country of issue, passport expiration date

2) photo copy of your passport ID page; passport

3) complete contact information (mailing address, phone,...I have your e-mail)

4) from the RTC-TH website,in the PDF section, in the article ''Preliminary Winter 2007 Trip Information'' print out and complete the forms...application, waivers, photo releases and mail them in with a $200 non-refundable deposit (the deposit applies toward the full trip fees...estimated to be $2000-$2500 depending on the final air fare booking).

5) check the website for the ''Detailed Itinerary''

6) once you are registered, a CD with training materials will be issued to you.

7) Roommate: pricing is based on double occupancy---so unless you have a friend joining us, we are hoping volunteers will make new friends and be able to get along with a relative ''stranger'' during the trip

PS: the slide presentations at the orientation meeting will also be included in the CD for the trip.
