Was enjoying reading this thread....even though I'm quite a bit younger than most of the contributors I did remember a few of these places from my youth LOL! Then lo and behold I got to your posting about ''Westside & Benny'' and I got chills.......Moose was my brother! I think I know some of the others you mentioned as well....or at least I know ''of'' them. Unfortunately I don't have too many memories of my brother, but it sounds like you could probably tell me some pretty wild & crazy stories! |

I loved Les's Hideaway! Played many a (bad) foosball game there! There was one band in particular that my friends & I would go see - I can't remember their name, but it was in the ''folky-rock'' genre. Fond memories there! |
