MINUTES

The minutes from the 2004 meeting were not read but were accepted.

TREASURERS REPORT

Danny Roth had not arrived yet so Lisa Lindell, secretary, presented a detailed expense report (attached). We had 100% of the property owners pay their assessments; 99% of the dock owners paid. A HUGE thank you to all residents/property owners for paying their assessments. We have made several attempts & will continue to do so, to get the one outstanding dock maintenance fee. It was noted that RCA spent more than it took in this year. A short discussion was held on how/where to cut expenses & other ways to increase our income. We also ask that anyone who does work for the subdivision (mowing, storm debris removal, etc) & would like to be reimbursed, please present their request to the board BEFORE completing the work, not after it?’s already been done.

DOCK REPORT

During the past year we had minor damage to the boardwalk that was repaired. Due to the high cost of labor for these repairs it may become necessary for the dock owners to volunteer to repair future damage.

NEW BUSINESS

ELECTION: There are seven openings for Board positions, however, only six residents stepped up to run. Therefore, they were ?“elected.?” One change to the slate: Jaimee Goodman has moved; Tricia Hartman will be seated on the Board in Jaimee?’s place.

STREET LIGHTS: Rhonda Oechsli reported that LG&E charges $18/month for a street light (to be added to the resident?’s LG&E bill). We feel this is a tad high ?– although the light is free from LG&E. Jeff Patton (who was not present but has spoken w/Rhonda) is considering buying coach-style lights. You will be responsible for paying for the light & having an electrician hook the light to your home. This is still in the discussion phase. If you are interested in having a street lamp at your home & would like more information please come to the next Board meeting (Tuesday, October 18th, 6:30pm) at the Patton?’s home 4211 Riviera or contact Jeff at 896-1511.

GMM DATE CHANGE: Our By-laws state that the GMM must be the 4th Sunday in September. Due to the fact that there are so many activities on this weekend the Board will be asking for a General Membership vote (per our By-laws) to change the meeting to the Sunday before the October Board Meeting, to begin with the 2006 GMM.

Meeting adjourned 1:47pm

E-MAIL: If you would like to receive your minutes via e-mail please contact Lisa Lindell at llindell@yahoo.com.
