RT Residents,

You may have noticed that after several years, the Walker Branch Recycle Center on Precinct Line is finally cleaned up.

The clean up was compliments of the State. As a result, this Monday the 25th, there will be a Thank You and Recognition Ceremony at 10:30 am at the site.  Some State and Local dignataries will be in attendance. 

I would like for us as a neighborhood to have a big show up, to show our appreciation to the driving forces behind the long awaited clean-up. This also gives us an opportunity to let City and State authorities know that we River Trails care about maintaining our community, protecting our investments and fostering good community relationships.

I hope to see many of you supporting me on this by showing up Monday at 10:30 am.  If you have to work, convince a neighbor that does not have to work to attend in your honor.

Let's come togeather on this and show individuals how inspite of all issues that we vent on here, we still care and can join forces on a whim.

Thank you to those that came out and represented the neighborhood.  

Channels 4, 8 and 11 were present and a News Radio Talk Show.  It will probably be on at 4 and 5 pm.

Now as a neighborhood,  we will need to focus on the zoning of that site so that businesses that we may not want around our neighborhood do not move in.  We may need to discuss this at the Member's meeting coming up.
