Tax hike anyone? 

This has been a long time in coming.  At this time there is no reason to beleive that this will have any impact on the taxes.  This is why we have a thing called insurance. 

But, please do not hesitate to ask questions.  It is better to ask and be informed than to make hasty asssumptions.

There seems to be a very ugly trend in this neighborhood to always think the worst of each other.

Well, insurance isn't free- it comes from our funds. What kind of rock do you live under? Just like we all pay for the sidewalks in some form or fashion - nothing is free. It is good to ask questions to let the people doing the hiring of policemen, concrete workers, etc. know that it is our money and the use of it is being monitored.
