I heard that the playground was supposed to be rebuilt this year...anyone hear anything about it...too long an empty plot of land..

I believe the bids were opened last week and depending on weather were to start in Nov or Dec...but the parameters... not sure of the bid but maybe someone can check out. Great need for play area for the kids.

It is really a convenient site that our kids used to play at years ago...certainly better that they did not put the skate park there as they tried to do a few years ago. Thanks Arthur for raising the questions at that time to help stop that from happening. Jim was certainly was helping to promote the skate park then to foist it on our neighborhood.

Thanks, but I helped to raise the issue and neighbors spoke out against the skate park....but we sure need the play area not vacant...but filled with kids at play...
