I am really sorry that I put what I thought was a reasonable request in a post on this site.  I did not realize that asking people politely to not let their dogs pee on my attempt to get grass to grow in my yard would reslult in such controversy, after all it is MY property and everyone else is either an invited guest or an unwelcome intruder.  Those who let their dogs, cats, snakes, birds, or whatever pee or poop in my yard fall into the latter category.

Since my polite request not only failed, but led to some ridiculous comments, in an effort to prevent any further dismay on this site, I will cease further comment on this site and instead will walk out and personally and empahatically talk to you about it when I see it happening.  That should be better and much more effective than any sign.  We already know many people ignore signs (stop signs, speed limit signs, etc.)

I must have misunderstood.  I thought you were saying that dogs should not walk through the neighborhood and pee in any yard.  I didn't realize you were only speaking about your own yard.  I will gladly respect that you do not want my dog to pee in your yard.  Just let me know which is your yard and I will most deffinately stay clear.

The part above is the first paragraph of the original post:  note the words "My front lawn" in the third sentence;  "my mailbox post" in the fourth sentence;  and "my yard" in the sixth sentence  Wherein did I cause the confusion?  I didn't
