Hi Neighbors! (8-24-09)

Aug 24, 2009

Hi Neighbors!

I want to apologize for getting everyone excited and then dropping the ball. Unfortunately, our family has recently had some difficult times including my high-risk pregnancy. However, I want everyone to know that I have not forgotten. I recently had a neighbor ask me what was going on with the flower bed at the front of White Oak Drive. I want to encourage everyone to continue with the efforts to improve our neighborhood, even if I am not able to participate at the moment. I think the first step should be a very informal meeting to discuss which issues need to be addressed first. I can not host such a meeting at this time, but if someone else would be willing to do so, I will be the first to attend! Please let me know if you would be willing to do this & I will get the word out.

Also, there is a house on Red Oak Drive with a sign in the front yard that states, ?“A public hearing is scheduled to consider this site 8-25-09 at 6:00 pm?”. All the residents are wanting to do is to add on to their home. If you would like to see the hearing, you can watch channel 21 at 6:00 tomorrow evening.

Once again, I would like to encourage everyone to stay involved! Get to know your neighbor if you don?’t already! Spread the word about our developing association & use the website http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/prairieville/perkinsoaks/ as a way to communicate! Let?’s keep this neighborhood beautiful & safe!

Thank you,

Tiffany Carroll
