Parkview Oaks Civic Association

Last week I fell victim to a rash of mailbox bashing necessitating the replacement of my mailbox. In discussions with our local postman, I discovered I was not alone. There were several others on Woodlyn (my street) and Wyndy. I further noticed more damaged mailboxes on my street this morning. I don't know how wide spread this is in Parkview Oaks, but am asking that we all join forces and keep our eyes open to try to identify the vandals so we can put a stop to their spree. Thanks.

Did you notify Metro Police of the vanalism? We need to keep the local substation involved in what is going on in the neighborhood. They have been very helpfull with other issues.

Mailbox guy caught

The person responsible for this vandalism was apprehended and spent several weeks in parish prison.
