About Us

Parkview Oaks Civic Association

The Civic Association Board of Directors....who are they?

Well, first we are your neighbors. We live in the area and have the same concerns, questions, and issues as you may have as a homeowner.
Second, we are a group of your neighbors dedicated to preserving the aesthetics, security, and value of our neighborhood. We work with the Metro Council, Metro Police, our Councilman, and other goverment agencies to protect our interests as homeowners and taxpayers.
Third, we are a volunteer army. We all have jobs, kids, cars, etc. to attend to on a daily basis. We have committed to the neighborhood to take the lead in working towards a secure, pleasant area within which to live.

How can I help?

First, JOIN THE ASSOCIATION. Without you, we cannot succeed.
Second, GET ACTIVE IN THE ASSOCIATION. We have various needs that could use your involvement. These things take typically no more than an hour a two a month!
Third, SUPPORT THE ASSOCIATION. Attend General Meetings and keep informed.

Without you, we cannot succeed.

About our association

What is the Civic Association?

We are a concerned group of your neighbors who care about the security, safety, and property values of Parkview Oaks Subdivision. The Board of Directors (listed below) meets monthly to address concerns of the neighborhood, address maintenance items for signs and common 'green spaces', and plan neighborhood activities.

Membership to the Association at this time is voluntary, and we appreciate all the paying members who support our efforts. This website is only one of several venues we will create to inform, teach, and announce issues within both our neighborhood and the City of Baton Rouge.

This is "our" organization, it becomes what we make of it through our involvement, dues, and ideas.

LET US HEAR FROM YOU !
