My posting was meant to be tounge in cheek.
I agree that refugee road needs to be 5 lanes from Gender Road all the way to the TajMahal.
Why is traffic planning only done after the fact? If a developer wants to put in a project that will add traffic, the burden of road improvements should be covered by that project proportional to the traffic increase generated.
Now, back to the Price Is Right. Come on down.....

Right Turns only

You seem to have a hard time keeping up with an old guy like me. Now you suggest that I submit a nominating petition and run for township trustee. Since you and our county engineer are concerned about my safety and I am only allowed to make right turns how do you propose for me to get to the Board of Elections?
Considering the fact that Einstein who is our county Engineer says it would be unsafe for me and my wife making left turns. Look at his first sentence what does he mean ''protect drivers such as Cruse.''
His words below:
''Anderson said the change was made to protect drivers such as Cruse and his wife.
''When you make a left turn, you have a conflict with somebody (oncoming traffic) much more than you do with a right turn,'' Anderson said. ''You're not crossing in front of anyone's path when you go right. Whenever you restrict left-hand turns, there are less accidents.''
Now lets say I do run for Trustee and win. How do I get to the meetings with out turning left?
The second point is that I think I am the only driver in the entire Township that obeys those NO LEFT TURNS SIGNS. Look at all of the right in and right outs along 256. Go buy a whooper for lunch Sony and sit facing that right in right out on 256. Count how many times to you see an idiot driver stop on the sign painted on the street NO LEFT TURN and make their left turn right passed another sign.
Third point is I am on Social Security so keep up with my payments. If I get elected as a trustee I can only make 12 grand a year. Any more then that I must return it. You are not getting off the hook that easily.
Beside once I reach 65 I can earn all I want and by then maybe a little dementia will have set in and I won't be embarrassing the trustees with real thought.
Yes there is a Traffic signal at the Kroger/ Taj Mahan. However the PLSD has a one way school road that dumps those exiting the Taj Mahan parking lot at the unsigned access between the Kroger light and the Pickerington Road Light. Probably those kids and my grandson are expendable because they must make that left turn going east on Refugee Road. Of course they are probably young enough you will ignore the one way sign like they do with the no left turn signs.

Keep Going
Keep that 5 lane going another half mile east or so. You have to take into account the new SUPER WAL-MART that is going just east of tha Taj Mahal. Hopefully it will look as pretty as the Taj.
What a coincidence that the teachers are pretesting Wal-Mart and now the North teachers get to look at it every day!!!

I haven't heard about the Super Wal-Mart up in the township. Where are you getting this info from? Bad rumor I hope.
