We Need Candidates
The Mayor's letter was an eloquent statement of the residential growth problems faced by Pickerington and other similar communities, and of the need to ''internalize'' some of the resulting ''negative externalities'' through impact fees and the like. It is gratifying indeed to have a Mayor who truly speaks for us.
We need to give him full support on the City Council. Sabatino, Parker and Wright need to be sent packing. But who is going to do it? We need three good candidates. We also need three good candidates for School Board, and another two for Township Trustee. These candidates probably need to come from the regular readers of this message board.
Who are they going to be? C'mon folks. Time is running out. It's time to step forward. You won't be alone. You will have plenty of volunteers and support. This is a key turning point. Our community's future is at stake.
