Houston, we have a problem
Changing the liberal bias is a monumental task. Look at what we are dealing with:
A 100% unionized employee environment. ( If there is a public school system with a non-union teaching staff it is not around here.) Start with the NEA, then the state level OEA and finally the PEA. At no level in the hierarchy will you encounter a conservative voice or agenda. Those that do never seem to move up in the ranks or are deemed 'out of touch', 'non-professional' or 'lacks the qualifications'.
Teacher education in the college world - To get ahead you must conform to the liberal ideology of the professor staff. Dare to present a conservative viewpoint and you can count on lower grades and outright abuse from some teachers. By the time you graduate you're not much different than the hostage who begins to take on the captor's viewpoints.
As long as the staff comes from the above environments we are going to have the liberal agenda as the predominant force in our education system.
