Anyone notice the headline on the POLICE BEAT?
?“Police report numerous thefts, break-ins?”
One-half page of crime in our community. I believe we?’re becoming nefariously notorious throughout central Ohio for both gridlock and petty crime. What a sad and shameful report.

It is sad and I am glad you pointed this out for those who might have missed it. I have not gotten a chance to read the local papers yet but I was wondering if the dates for the crimes are in there. Sometimes they don't show them for a week and then show two weeks in one paper.
Are the dates in there and are they for the preceeding week or more?

Yes, the dates are there. This is about one week's worth of crime starting the 11th of AUG. Not sure if these perpetrators are crossing city lines or not, but we ALL knew this was coming. You only have to look at the first few hundred posting to see the ''alarmists'' predicting increased crime, higher taxes and cataclysmic traffic jams with the endless approval of thousands of homes. Sometimes ?“alarmists?” can be dead on ?– and they were on all three of these issues.

This is disturbing news. Well, I can see visible evidence of the attempt to help the traffic situation. Can you offer any suggestions on how to improve the crime situation? I mean anybody can complain about it. The important thing is to offer constructive recommendations to fix things.
