I haven't seen anything in print since the fall elections about the Pickerington Kohls. It it going to happen?

I was wondering the same thing too. I sent in the following question to the city ''ask us or send us your complaints'' section of their web site to see if in fact...they will answer...and if they will post the question.

What is the status of the proposed Kohl's store on SR 256? We heard a lot about it during the election, now.... no dirt moves and there is silence. Please update the community.

I didn't think it would happen either but according to the response on the city web site.

Thank you for your interest. Construction on the proposed Pickerington Kohl's store is anticipated to begin this spring (early spring 2004). The project's contractor has obtained a ''foundation start'' permit which allows them to begin ''moving dirt'' for the project. However, contractors typically wait until the spring to begin dirt work because it can be difficult to dig dirt when the ground is frozen. The project is proceeding according to its anticipated schedule.
