Housing developent stopped

Posted in: PATA
A new article from the Columbus Dispatch has been posted in ''Our Pages'' concerning a new housing development on Hill Road that has been stopped. Apparently the ousted City Council approved the plans two years ago, but the proper sewer permit was never secured from the Ohio EPA. Visit ''Our Pages'' or the Columbus Dispatch online to view the article.

One of the Many(?)

Is it possible that this is one of the many projects promoted by Wm. Goldman which received preferential treatment by Ms. Bushman? It does not seem legal/moral for an attorney to represent both a Manager and a developer as Mr. Goldman did in the case of Ms. Bushman in a Columbus property issue and the development of property in Pickerington.
Good Job

thanks to Bob Harding for springing OEPA meeting records to the public earlier this year indicating that the OEPA was and is aware of sewer lines being installed WITHOUT permits from the OEPA in the Pickerington City limits.

I guess those at the top in the OEPA may have seen these documents in public submissions regarding the wastewater plant expansion and questioned their people as to why this was going on.....One can only hope.

IF you can't flush them, you can't build them. Stop rapid sewer expansion...lower your taxes in the long run.

What goes around comes around

Isn't this the same outfit that thumbed its nose at its next door neighbors in 2001? With the city hall as its allies it ignored the zoning laws of this community and didn't inform it neighbors. Now with a new city government in place city hall seems to be looking at the rules and living by the rules established for everyone not just the citizens of Pickerington.

Maybe the Ohio EPA should get off its butt and look harder at other projects these clowns have been doing over the years. I believe if you look hard enough you will find some of those violations documented right here on this web site.
