Don?’t know if I deserve thanks

I?’m not sure that I deserve ?“thanks?” for presenting the obvious mess of the OEPA approval process regarding Permits to Install (PTI?’s). So that you know the OEPA has never responded to my early November letter of concern (submitted officially for the records) over this PTI issue and the proposed sewer plant expansion, so it leaves one to wonder ?– Do they admit to the past permitting issues and are they taking corrective actions or do they just remain mum and hope no one will notice?

Of course the OEPA?’s November 10th statement of ?“Finding no significant Impact?” and their comments in the press since early November don?’t bode well to the question above ?– former versus latter. My faith would be more likely restored if they would do what they simply are required to do ?– respond to a public request and answer questions. Since they have had 2 months and not done such one leans toward the latter.

Your copy is not lost on the pony express.

We are all wondering where the Responsiveness Summary is for the PTI hearing in November too. I have received several emails from those who attended, inquiring if I received mine, I have not.They are emailing because of a strong rumor that the OEPA has already issued the PTI to the city, without any public notice to anyone to the best of our knowledge.

Of course we all believe they will issue the PTI regardless of what was presented., but I do find it interesting that somebody actually checked up on the alleged irregularities left over from the last administration. I do not know who that somebody is....but they did and action was taken and I hope they continue. I am sure these irregularities may create a full time job for somebody in the OEPA at least for awhile.

Thanks for your persistance in pursuing this issue for several years. Lord knows many of us were near to burn out over this on more than one occasion. Your effort was inspirational.
