How To Register To Vote

Postcard voter registration form can be picked up at any public library, or the form can be downloaded from the Alabama Secretary of State's Office at www.sos.state.al.us. You can also register at the Shelby County Public Services Bldg (Near Helena), or at the County Courthouse in Columbiana. How To Apply For An Absentee Ballot

Requests for absentee ballots are accepted not earlier than 45 days prior to the election and must be received not later than 5 days before the election. Contact Mary Harris, Shelby County Absentee Voting, at (205) 669-3779 for more information or to request an application for an absentee ballot.
