We Need Your Help!

The goal of the Board is to encourage 100% participation and membership in the ORHA. Everyone has something to contribute and we want to hear your ideas. Feel free to contact any officer on the Board with questions, concerns, news items, or ideas.

If you would like to become more involved in the ORHA, just give one of the Board members a call. There is a standing need for help in several areas, to include upkeep of the front entrance, hospitality/welcome committee activities, planning/hosting of social events, architectural committee, and contributing reporters for newsletter items.

Dues

Annual dues are $35 per household for the calendar year January – December. Please make your check payable to ORHA and deliver or mail to any officer on the ORHA Board. Dues should be paid prior to March 31 for the calendar year. We appreciate your continued support!

History of the Oak Ridge Homeowners Association (ORHA)

The Oak Ridge Subdivision is located in the unincorporated portion of Northern Shelby County, AL, across from the Oak Mountain High School Football Stadium on HWY 119, at Mile Marker 23 (Between I-65 and HWY 280). HWY 119 is also known as Cahaba Valley Road. The ORHA was formed in 1991 with the goal of helping to make the Oak Ridge Subdivision a better place to live for its 65 homeowners and their families. Objectives of the ORHA include: Planning and holding social activities to get to know our neighbors, pooling financial resources to provide for the upkeep of common areas such as the main entrance to the subdivision, keeping the neighborhood directory updated, welcoming new residents, publishing a regular newsletter, and monitoring compliance with the ORHA protective covenants which were recorded with the Shelby County Probate Judge, Book 109, Page 562, January 12, 1987. Copies of the Covenants and Bylaws are available from the ORHA Board.
