A house in the 400 block of Waveland has an unsightly chain-link fence in the front yard. Our covenants obviously either aren't known or no one takes them seriously...why would they if the dues aren't mandatory.

The house in the 400 blk of waveland had to install that fence to get final approval on his permit. County code requires fencing or railing due to the height of his driveway walls. As you can see the the fence is gone. He installed it just long enough to get approval. Instead of anonymous bitching here you should have just asked the homeowner about the fence. He does know the covenants in the neighborhood. but to avoid hassles with the county he installed it long enough to please the inspector.
