Who We Are

Celebrating more than 170 years of service to the Kingdom of God! Even after all these years we know how to have fun and serve the community.

Honored for Excellence in Evangelism in 2006 by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Newburg Christian Church was founded in 1837 but is focused on its future. We are a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and associated with the Willow Creek Association.

We are located at 5225 Poplar Level Road, just north of the intersection of Poplar Level Road and Shepherdsville Road near the GE Plant. Our worship services begin at 11:00am with Sunday School for adults and children beginning at 9:30am.


We are a people working to live a Romans 12 life that builds an Acts 2 church. We are an A2-R12 church seeking to live its God-given purpose and looking for unique ways of making the Kingdom of God real for people today. We serve God as we serve other people no matter their race, culture, or faith experience.




Our Purpose

We are called to build a community of believers that leads people to faith in Jesus. As we are led by the Holy Spirit we will serve the physical and spiritual needs of others.



Partnerships

Dare to Care - NCC distributes ''emergency'' and ''commodity'' foods to people in need each Monday from noon to 3:00 p.m.

MUSCL - We are a proud supporter of Ministries United of South Central Louisville which works to assist individuals and families in need.
