The Public Relations Committee provides a forward agenda and schedule for events and all public meetings for the general membership after reviewing such with the Board and in collaboration with all committees. The committee plan, coordinate, and publicize the meetings. The committee collaborates closely with the general membership with regard to social and other activities of other organizations.

The Public Policy Committee stays appraised of public policy issues that directly relate to matters of interest to the board and to the general membership. The committee assists in choosing speakers for the Leadership Roundtable Series discussion. The committee promotes the Corporation's philosophy to the general public, as well as to other organizations, as well as act as a liaison to the same.

The New Leaders- Columbus (TNLC) is a non-partisan organization made up of committed, young professionals, seeking to promote leadership development by addressing social, economic and political issues relevent to minority communities throughout Central Ohio. TNLC is a voice for the future, based on the principle that by combining bold leadership with innovative ideas, technology and community resources, we will create alliances and become a sphere of influence that prepares the leaders of tomorrow for the next millennium.



CALENDAR OF EVENTS:


The New Leaders Columbus will be hosting the "1999 School Board Forum" Wednesday, October 20th, 1999 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Performing & Cultural Arts Complex located at 867 Mt. Vernon Ave. from 6p.m. to 8p.m.
