It is also impossible to get back to the main menue without signing out and then signing in again...you are stuck in the never never land

Hey Barb

I am a cooridnator on my site.  You should have a delete button on the bottom of post that appear on your discussion page.  I asked this yesterday then found it.  When you delete a [post it removes the post and leaves a message.  This is the one I removed from our Madison Park HOA site in Charlotte NC.

Robert,

I would like to repy to your post, responding to some of the points you made about issues  brought up on this thread...

you wrote....

1.  .........Our neighborhood coordinators got some advanced notice..............

my response.......  I thought I was a neighborhood coordinator because I am the one that set our page up and have access to change things but I did not receive notice of the change.

4.  Seeing discussions in other areas - we like the idea of a button you could click at the top of the page that would hide everything that wasn't posted in that neighborhood.  Thoughts?

my response......I would rather have it opposite where you click to see all the other neighborhood postings, not already have them visible. That cuts out all confusion and gives the illusion of a more private site.

5.  Rankings.  ......................reflect the level of respect your neighbors have here on the site have for you.........

my response............. I don't understand how this is going to help anything. Whose opinion is this going to be, will it be someone in my neighborhood who knows me?  What is the purpose of this?

you wrote............

8. Anonymous posting.................

my response..........I understand how the anonymous posts could be used in the wrong way.  However, if in this new format you can remove inappropriate posts why can't a person remain/be anonymous  and if the post is not  appropriate it could be reported and removed..................And what about people like me who have used a user name that I shouldn't have since I personally can not nor should not speak for my whole community.  What can I do about it the way it is now?

Yikes - This is not good. How can we remove all these posts that have nothing to do with our Association?
