About Us

North Hills Civic Association

North Hills Civic Association membership is open to residents of North Hills, located in the Brandywine Hundred area, north of Wilmington, Delaware. More information is included in our Constitution and Bylaws.

Our borders run east-west from the Georgian Terrace community on Washington Street Extension to Windsor Road, which is opposite Mt. Pleasant High School. Our north-south borders run along Marsh Road from Philadelphia Pike to just north of Washington Street Extension (near the Mount Pleasant High School baseball field).

Membership fees are based upon whether you live on a street which is plowed by the state or by the private contractor hired by NHCA.

We have two membership levels:

1) Social members - for homes on streets plowed by the state.
2) Members - for homes on streets plowed by our contractor.

Events/Happenings we hold:

Community Picnic including Annual Meeting - spring or early summer

Halloween Parade for the kids

Autumn Hay Ride at Bellevue State Park

Easter Egg Hunt for the kids

Community-wide garage sale

Service we provide:

Snow plowing

The NHCA contracts with a local snow-plower to provide plowing/salting on streets in our community that are not plowed by the state. NHCA is registered to participate in the Delaware Department of Transportation Snow Removal Reimbursement Program.
