City of Canton Economic Development Loan Program

The Canton Community Improvement Corporation (CCIC) provides loans for financing fixed assets such as real estate, machinery, and equipment.

Jobs must be created as a result of the loan, averaging $5,000 per job. 51% of more of the new employees must be in the low to moderate income category. A typical loan structure would be 20% owner equity, 40% private financial institution, 40% CCIC. Projects must comply with City building and zoning code.

Maximum Loan: $75,000
Interest Rate: 3%, for a maximum of 10 years

City of Canton Revitalization Business Loans

The Canton Community Improvement Corporation (CCIC) provides loans to businesses within the Central Canton Community Development Area for the purpose of bringing a commercial/industrial building up to City Building Code Standards and for building facade renovations. Projects must comply with City Building and Zoning Code.

Minimum Loan: $10,000
Maximum Loan: $50,000
Interest Rate: 3% for a maximum of 10 years
