Our Annual Holiday Pot Luck is next Monday (12-6) at Veterans Park. All are welcome. If you can, bring your favorite side dish, salad, or dessert. However, if you are just running too late, come on and join anyway, we will be glad to see you and the association will be purchasing some extra food to make sure everyone is well fed. The fantastic Pacific Islander group, PUA OLEENA, a group of students from Jackie Robinson Academy and Cabrillo HS will be on hand to entertain and we could not be happier.
Daisy Avenue Christmas Tree Lane: there are several events planned stretching the entire month. Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Friday, Dec 10th, 6:30 pm at Hill and Daisy. Stick around and be part of the Home Decorating Contest judging, which follows at 7pm.
THE PARADE: SATURDAY, DEC. 11 at 5:00 PM. You can sign up to volunteer to help the day of the parade by emailing colleenmcdnld03@gmail.com. (We need about 60 volunteers to help and it is something that the high school students can get service hours for, providing that they are 16 or older).
There are also four entertainment nights. They all take place at 7pm on the Daisy Median at 20th Street. The nights are Sunday the 12th, Friday the 17th, Saturday the 18th, and Sunday the 19.
