I really don't think you know that "inane" is a real word or the meaning of it. Why the quotation marks?

You see dear, he used the quotation marks around "inane" because he was quoting you. You know I'm no stickler for punctuation, spelling or grammar myself. If it was grammar he was worried about he should have put quotation marks around "inane postings". I believe he had a problem with only the word "inane". Like he was trying to tell me it wasn't a word.
