Malodery is here to argue and bitch.

She/he/it, like all libs, does not personally give.  She takes.

She/ he/ it offers very little.  Just waits like most liberal parasites, to attach themselves to someone's thread with their (let's let the feds make sure we all share the misery equally) tentacles.

She/he/it cannot see the tragedy her blindness (and her/his/its politbureau) is visiting on our great country.

Overpopulation?  Free market says no problem.

Nature handles overpopulation.  Nothing more is needed.

Nature handles overpopulation through wars, genocide, starvation, disease, and weather.   I think there are more humane ways to do that.   The Free Market won't do it.

Extinction of species?   Free market says no problem.

It's natural for species to become extinct.  What's the problem?

Species, both plants and animals, are becoming extinct at over ten times the historical rates.

Some species have value beyond appearance, such as medicinal.

The free market won't do anything to preserve them.

  Replacing non-renewable resources?   Ditto

If there is a demand, it will be filled.  What's the problem?

When there is a demand for oil and there is no oil, what will the Free Market provide?   I don't see the Free Market working on anything unless it's subsidized.

  Starvation?   Free market not involved?

The Ag industry has done more to reduce starvation than any government.  In fact starvation is worse under totalitarian governments, not under capitalism.

OK how is the Free Market solving the starvation in totalitarian regimes?  If they can do anything as you say they should be able to do this.

Desertification?   Free market made it happen?

Who do you think invented the technology to do this?

          Not any government.

What technology are you referring to?

This is still a puszzle.   What technology?

Ebola virus?   Free market says its no problem.

        Natural selection at work

You can dismiss it as natural selection until you get it.   What then?

Greenland ice cap melting?  Free market denys it is happening.

        LMAO

It's happening.   Why are you laughing?

Over fishing the oceans?   Free market does nothing.

And the government has solved this problem?

The government has made some headway.   The Free Market opposes them at every step.

Educating the children of the poor?   Free market does nothing.

        ditto

So what exactly has the Free Market done or will do?

Providing fire protection to the community?

        Granted

  Police protection?

        Granted

Creating and maintaining a highway system?

Who built the highways?  The army?   No, and not the free market.

  Terrorism?   Free market does nothing?

         Same as war

Illegal immigration    Free market does nothing.

The fed. government is doing a bang up job here, what?

And the Free Market adds to the problem by employing them.

When I read through this, it seems the free market does little to nothing to solve any of these major problems of the world.

Except maybe desertification.   Not sure what you are talking about there.   Explain?

So how can you say the free market will handle everything?????

Mal:  Another nice attempt at misdirection.  No I will not follow you off on this tangent.  I've said my piece on the subjects you list.  I take it you no longer wish to discuss the topic of this thread, fuel prices.

I will discuss it with anyone who wants to stay on topic.

It's understandable why you want to drop this subject.   You made the statement the free market can handle anything but war and when challenged you have come up with zero support for the statement.   Not one iota of explanation, not a smidgen, nothing.

You're just repeating something Fox or Limbaugh or one of their ilk has said and you really don't understand it or realize they're just making it up.
