This is quite a query from such a small mind. Since those housed at Guantanamo are not U.S. citizens, and are indeed considered prisoners of war, do the same rights that we enjoy apply to them? And of course the broader question that you must ask yourself is if you believe that they are guilty or innocent. I, along with most rational humans, believe that they are guilty, and therefore have no such rights. They are being fed and housed, and should enjoy nothing else.
Now then, if they're guilty of a crime, should they be prosecuted? Well of course they should. Terroists deserve to die. If they're innocent, should they be released? Sure.
This is elementary for someone with my superior community college intellect. Next subject please.
Your Friend, Professor Joe So, now tahae professor runs interference for the challenged. |

Your Friend, Professor Joe
So just because our armies go abroad we leave our beliefs behind, we can torture, abduct and imprison foreign nationals. How many afghanistan/taliban and/or Iraqi citizens were on the 9/11 planes. What are the afghanistan people guilty of, not turning over a group of citizens that the U.S. allege committed a terrorist act. Is a country require to turn over citizens to foreign countries without first seeing proof of their crime with actual evidence( that's that whole thing about fighting extradition). Are these wars legal(pre-emptive/preventive invasion) and/or constitutional ( declaring and waging war-U.S. constitution) because now we might be talking about war crimes and/or violating their oath of office(I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.'")! Isn't every country in the world allowed to defend themselves( even if they are bad governments), When have the taliban and/or Iraq ever attacked us and neither was in any way capable of doing so)! Are the citizens from these two countries not defending their homes and lands from an invading army. If the table were turn would you not take to arms in the defense of your country if invaded by a foreign country! And last but not least, why the blind faith of supporting the invasion of two countries, and once the WMD report was found to be incorrect( and sodam was dead/ bin laden was dead also), why not stop the war!! What is America getting in return for sending it's citizens to die for another countries freedom! Is it worth one more dead soldier. What ever happened to peace on earth!!! |
