Slow economy? Obama blames ATM's

Posted in: Muscatine

LMBBAO! Nobama balmes information and technology for the employment rate not rebounding....but he used it for his campaign and in many speeches without excluding those darned ol' ATM's...Go ahead, mall...keep defending this line of reasoning!

From the first post here: “Then later, in an interview with NBC News, Obama suggested that innovation and technology -- like job-stealing ATMs -- were reasons why the employment rate was not rebounding as quickly as he had hoped”.

President Obama has talked about science, technology, engineering and math (the STEM subjects) a lot in major speeches. Today, President Obama spoke at a New York community college to emphasize innovation and technology, according to prepared remarks. http://blogs.edweek.org/edweek/campaign-k-12/barack_obama/

The story goes that Milton Friedman was once taken to see a massive
government project somewhere in Asia. Thousands of workers using shovels were
building a canal. Friedman was puzzled. Why weren't there any excavators or any
mechanized earth-moving equipment? A government official explained that using
shovels created more jobs. Friedman's response: "Then why not use spoons instead
of shovels?"
