Here my gripe, joggers who can't use the sidewalk. We had to pay big $$ for a sidewalk in front of our house. We couldn't do the work,Oh no, had to pay to have it done. We keep it clear of snow during the winter, but here are the joggers running in the road and not along the side of the road, down the road. Some morning in the dark and fog one of them will get hit and then whose fault will it be? The poor driver of the car.
OK I'm done now.
I'm curious as to the dollar amount for the sidewalk in front of your house, and if that could help us figure how much it might cost for the 400-500 feet of new sidewalk needed on that stretch of Mulberry.
For the most part, I see our streets in better condition than our neighbors to the east in Davenport. There are some areas that surely could use some work, like Cedar between Houser and Parham. The new walking path along the river looks great and seems to be getting some use. Kent-Stein and the soccer complex always amaze me.
