Why are you even discussing something that will never happen, davie? Wasting your time again?

I'm a senior and I'll give my opinion for what it's worth.

We need to stop the unsustainable spending.  Even if it hurts.  Because, if we don't, it will not only hurt in the future, it will kill us.

I'm for the gradual elimination of most Federal entitlements over time.  I'm for the elimination of medicare and medicaid.  I'm for the drastic paring down of social security.  I'm for alternative methods instituted over the next 20 years or so.  Methods similar to the principle of the health savings account.  It can't all be done at once.  It has to be phased in with deliberation and planning. The entitlement culture instituted by the liberals is wrecking our country.  The unsustainable debt will bankrupt our children and grandchildren.  The voters spoke loudly last November.  They want something done about it.  I'm talking about the voters and the people pulling the wagon.  Not the illegals, ignorant, and don't give a sh.t non voting morons riding in the wagon.

What will never happen?

Are you saying that the Republicans are really unable to pass such a drastic, unrealistic, budget? It's not the wasting of my time to point out the evils of our political system.

Will you please get it thru your head that the Republicans are NOT elimating Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
