Why do you think that not ONE democrat had the cajones to prepare a budget for 2011 when they had control of the House, the Senate, and the WH? The dems could not face the music if they touched the "entitlements" to make budget cuts as the taxpayers are demanding, so they kicked the can down the road to try to make the Republicans look like bad guys. We have all known for a long time that Social Security is in deep trouble as well as Medicare. So here we are at the eleventh hour of yet another extension  of the budget and the dems are still kicking and it is SIX months since they were supposed to submit a budget. The kicking should become kicking them right out of office for not doing THEIR job. 

Maybe it's just me, but you seem to want to change the subject and ask your own questions, without addressing the subject at hand. Do you find Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid worthy for Government sponsor. Regardless to your position, Republicans want to rid seniors (and future seniors) of these current entitlements. Do you find that good?

Yes, it is just you as my post IS on the subject. Can you read? The gov't MUST stop spending and not one dem had the cajones to touch SS, medicare and medicaid to bring the budget into some semblance of order. No, the Republicans do NOT want to rid seniors and future seniors of these current entitlements - as I stated Republicans ARE Seniors, will be Seniors and etc. Since dems have said we couldn't cut some essential parts of the budget such as the Cowboy Poetry Festival - yes harry reid did defend that expense - what do YOU want to cut to stop this 14 TRILLION dollar debt? Let's hear what you think are acceptable cuts.

Again the question was if "you" found the elimination of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid a good move? While I understand you lean Republican, you've failed to address the question.
