Now that's some rationalization for plagarism. You got an email, so just decided to copy THAT. Where exactly did you disclose it was an email that you copied, without author?
As for my "position at a local news media", I say heck yeah....let's go there. What position would that be? If it were such a position, why would it preclude my commenting on an act of plagiarism here on this public forum? Let's talk all the ethics and morals that you'd like. I'm quite comfortable with mine.
