Trick or treating brats

Posted in: Muscatine

I decided to go out to my boy's house for Halloween at Ripley's.  I bought some candy to hand out and sat down to enjoy the fun of seeing all the hoodlums show up in their costumes.

I have to say that all the kids that came to his house was very polite! I have given out candy for years at my house, but the kids at Ripleys are especially polite and the parents made sure of that. Every child said "thank you" and weren't pigs about picking out candy. One pre-teen girl asked me what I meant about pick out some candy.....does that mean a handful? (How sweet)

And you always have the teens that show up with no costume.....at my neighborhood, they are always snotty and act like they deserve the treat. But 2 boys showed up with no costumes and were very nice and joking around and I flipped them crap for not having a costume and they were very respectful.

I like my boy's neighborhood. Kudos to them parents out here.

Must be the year for polite trick-or-treaters.  we didn't have a lot this year, but they were very polite and so dang cute!

Yeah Lil,

If only the kids now days could see back in our day how the streets were filled with trick-or-treaters and we got to stay out a lot later. It was good times back then coming home with grocery sacks full of candy and going back out again. (But, back in them days, candy was a treat that you didn't get very often, so your Halloween candy lasted for almost a year.)

HAHAHAHA! I just had 3 teens show up in some scary costumes! They were so funny and cool! They showed up after 8 pm, so I let them have the rest of the candy. Funny stuff.
