Istreat - I did not read your whole post - first of all it is too long. Second, the minute I read you dissing McCain because he doesn't know how to use a computer utterly p*ssed me off. John McCain spent 5+ years as a POW and had basically every bone in his body broken by the enemy as means to try to get him to denounce the USA. Have you noticed that his arms hang "kind of funny"? Well, that disability does not allow him full use of his arms - thus he is UNABLE to use a computer. Does he get up there at every opportunity and tell everyone that? NO, he takes that just like he took the abuse from the Vietnamese.
JC - Being a POW can earn you respect, but by no means does it make you smart. McCain's lack of computer skills is more IQ based then his disabilities.
As far as the abuse he took from the Vietnamese, did he have a choice? I believe every POW was abused and some actually learned to use a computer.
Regardless how does being a POW or being computer illiterate qualify a person to be President?
I guess you missed the point - he can't use his arms/hands to operate the computer you dum a**. I'll bet his IQ beats yours by a country mile and I KNOW for a fact that he has more common sense than you do - he would never call anyone illiterate because of an injury.
Even if he CHOSE to not operate a computer doesn't make him or anyone else illiterate. I know plenty of smart folks who don't own a computer and don't want one - then again I know some dum a** people who own one and shouldn't.
