Well, well....the bail-out bill vote is over. I see the only non-voting member of the US Senate is Kennedy. Failed to perform his duties once again. Pretty rotten, huh? Even in the House there were 13 from both parties that did not vote on the measure. Seven of the thirteen were democrats, though. All should burn....but I see liberals here strangely silent on their example of leadership of not-voting for some reason. |

Just as a reminder, Kennedy is fighting a malignant brain tumor. It was less than a week before the vote that he was rushed to the hospital after suffering an apparent seizure. As seizures can be common in patients with brain cancer, his doctor's may be limiting his activities and travel. To put this in the nicest terms possible, it's astonishingly crass for someone to call a cancer victim a moron for taking some time off work when his vote wouldn't have made a difference one way or the other as to whether or not the bill passed. |
