Republican style

I believe the majority of taxpayers have bristled at the word BAILOUT. We picture a huge increase in taxes forever to bail out the very persons who have been raking in multi-millions and in turn making this giant problem in the economy.

I do believe that most, along with Bush, McCain and Obama want some kind of bill - just not this bill which still includes a slush fund for the rapers of economics like ACORN. There has to be a better way and a better name than "bailout".

So, if this bill was so wonderful why was Pelosi telling select members of her party that it was fine for them to vote NO - was that per chance so that this bill would not succeed and this would make the "other party" look like as#h#l#s so that her party can win the White House in a few weeks? It turns out that she is the one that looks like a you-know-what.

Not so, my friend, davie. That's the burden you carry when you are the majority. The leadership must ensure they have the votes for passage or...they fail. All bills passing are the responsibility of the majority. They promised you change. They are the supreme leaders who promised a new heaven for you liberals...

Only...when they can't deliver...you have no problemo with them. Majority rule carries the burden, davie. They were not able to sell the bill and obtain the votes. That, my friend, equals extreme failure. Duly noted. I'll remind you how it works every now and then....

Remember, davie; you were the one that bragged here after the last congress election that you voted for change in that election that gave the majority to liberals. And they continually fail you like demonstrated with the bailout. That's not change OR leadership.

It will get passed eventually...but they are on record failing once again.

I wouldn't say I bragged, but agree I stated I voted for change. The problem is, as it was then, you think that means I voted Democrat. Which of course is not solely the case. Outside of that I feel we have seen change. Again agreed not near enough. However we have seen the country realize how much of a failure President Bush has become. That's a change. We've seen President Bush wreck (almost single handily) the economy. That's a change. We don't see any Republicans stepping to the forefront telling us how another tax cut will solve this economic crisis. That's a change. But most important to me is how the word REPUBLICAN and FAILURE go hand in hand......... Oh yeah! That's a change.

Peace
