I don't want another four years of the same thing and I feel that is what we would get if John McCain wins the presidency. John McCain and his party's leaders act like offshore drilling is our one true path to eternal salvation. When will we wake up and realize that at some point oil, coal, etc. will be gone then what do we do.

The McCain campaign has raised $9.65 million in lobbying fees from at least 30 oil and gas companies. McCain and the Republican party has taken nearly $6 million from Big Oil. McCain's idea of an energy plan is to use the money from the Big Oil companies to fuel negative, nasty, and deceptive television ads attacking Obama's energy plan. But McCain has a long record of voting against clean energy or refusing to even SHOW UP and vote at all.

And Sarah Palin? Her confrontations with the oil industry have all been about who should get more of the windfall profits, hot how to end our addiction. Not only does she want to drill just nearly everywhere, she doesn't even believe global warming is man-made!

Home Power Magazine - The amount of sunshine energy that hits the surface of the Earth every minute is greater than the total amount of energy that the world's human population consumers in a year!

To quote Thomas Edison, "I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait till oil and coal run out before we tackle that."

With all the free sunshine and wind this country receives over the course of a year, we should be looking into harnessing this type of energy. Some day all our resources are going to be dried up or so high priced (gasoline) that we can't afford to buy it or won't have it available to us. Without other types of fuel powered vehicles, we will all have to get out our bikes or go back to riding horses everywhere. This isn't the kind of country I want to live in.

The Mayan calendar says the world will end 12/12/2012 and with McCain as President...it just might come to fruition.

How can you blame a republican administration? You have completely missed that congress controls drilling, expenditures, alternative energy funding, etc, etc.

You will have had two years of liberal control of Congress when whover the next president will be takes office in January. Can you name us one law or act or expenditure that has come from your liberal congress that gives you the satisfaction you desire and call for? Just one?

McCain can have any, and as many policies as he wants...but he'll never get them through a liberal congress, just like Bush now. And...that same liberal congress who has done NOTHING that you have alluded to will continue to do nothing. It seems as though your emotions are mis-directed, Junior08.

Vote for who you want to; but as least know who actually controls getting things done...and who has not done anything for you in nearly two years.

Why that's shocking, Junior!  She doesn't even believe in man-made global warming?  What a revelation!

Hang on a minute.....I need to grab my winter jacket.  It's been a mite cold this year.

MANY scientists do not believe in man-made global warming regardless of what the esteemed mr gore wants you to believe. If indeed there is a man-made global warming it is most assuredly the aforementioned bag of hot air.
