Junior08,

How can you blame a republican administration?

How can you not blame the Republican administration? from Bush to congress how can you ignore the fact that this administration has brought a stalemate to progress.

Want to talk unemployment? I guess that Republican concept of the "trickle down" effect just doesn't really work.

Careful, davie...you'll open up the Clinton record on unemployment....don't think you want to do that.

Stalemate...the only stalemate is a dead liberal congress that can't and won't do anything! They control the laws and the spending, davie. A member of congress must introduce action items. Why are there none concerning issues you bring up? The liberals have failed you again and again, davie. Don't forget, your hero, nobama, admitted Bush's troop surge worked to keep us all safer.

Hard to swallow, wasn't it?

Ah, Heck, davie...let's just go ahead since you brought it up.

The highest unemployment rate the Bush admin has ever seen is for one month at 6.3%. (That's seasonally adjusted figures from DOL for ages 16 years and over-the same parameter stats reported in the monthly public report.)

Your boy Clinton, on the other hand, gets to claim 16 months sustained at 6.3 % and higher, with billy-boy's peak being 7.3%; including 6 months at 7% or above! (Same parameters.)

Nice!

And now the Dumbocrats are introducing a "do-nothing" energy bill that "they say" will allow off shore drilling. What it actually is is an election year ploy to make people believe they tried but the Republicans obstructed. Classic Dumbocrat election year politics. In truth the bill they want to pass will not open up off shore drilling anymore than it is today. It is full of restrictions that will not put another drop of oil in the market. But instead of an up and down vote for the Republican bill that will actually allow more oil production off shore they will claim the Republicans are obstructing their effort to help the American people.

And at the same time they are trying to get another 550,000 foreign workers brought here to take American jobs in a time of high unemployment rates. This is more proof that they are trying to reduce this country to third world status. The Dumbocrats should change their Party name to Marxicrats!
