With Hurricane Gustav dominating the news today, you might not have heard all of the latest about John McCain's choice for VP.

It turns out that her 17 yr old high school senior daughter is pregnant.

Her husband has a DWI on his record.

She has hired a lawyer to defend herself against charges she abused her power as Governor.

And

She was once a member of the Alaskan Independence Party that wishes to hold a vote on whether or not Alaska residents wish to secede from the United States.

Just want to make sure everybody is up to speed. Draw from it what you will.

As far as sarah Palin's daughter goes, had it been obama in her place, he probably would have had his daughter's baby aborted/killed.

Should she not hire a lawyer? obama would/will, in time.

I'd hate to see Alaska secede. Would much rather see California and New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey secede.
