shmoe Valued Neighbor Muscatine 15 Posts	I have a few friends standing on the picket line and was told they signed the strike for fear of getting hurt by other union members if they didn't. These unions are nothing but a bunch of whining little babies that need there positions filled from another worker. Next the union will want GPC to supply free toilet paper for life at there homes. Just like a union to expect something for nothing!! We didn't sign any strike! We have not even voted to strike!!! Your friend is WRONG!!!! Sounds like he's the baby! tired Respected Neighbor muscatine 74 Posts	If they are walking afraid and voted yes then in my baook they are slightly above a scab. The union is only as strong as their weakest member and if this post is try they may have several "SCABS" among them. The company is just trying to divide the herd and prey on the week, wishy washy ones. Hang tough folks we are here backing you. Sister plant in Indiana really came through for the company didn't they. How many of them are former Muscatine folks? And are they a NON-Union plant? Just a couple of thoughts. wroe Respected Neighbor usa 198 Posts	is gpc union or not.how could they have part union. just wondering personaly i'm all for union.I think alot of people dont understand what a union can do for them.my husband is a union loborer they have been very good to us and the bennys are excelent. i wish them all the best no matter what they are.
