Yes GPC has stated in thier letter that they sent to the employees and also what was printed in the paper how they value thier employees, sure looks like it. The union asked to work two weeks under the old contract to work on the contract and see if changes could be made, they said no. Yep he really values his employees.
Yes they have brought people in and that plant will continue to run but for how long will these people want to be away from thier homes and work 12 hours days /7 days a week, and the plant will not run at full capacity, so it is gonna hurt everyone all the way around. |

I can feel for those emplyees because I was in their shoes for almost 6 months over 20 years ago. The company may have a problem because the contract did not expire until midnight, but I am not sure about the current laws. They may all qualify for unemployment. |
