I would like to thank P&W employees for the fast and efficient restoration of our electric power ans city workers for their effort on clean up;these services are what makes muscatine good place to live

I sure agree with you because in my opinion they did a great job.

I have a friend that has done a lot for me in the last 3 1/2 years so tomorrow is my turn to repay a little of it. He lost 4 trees in the storm, no house damage so I will be helping him make a large brush  pile.

Maybe in October we will have a weiner roast.

What the heck!?!?!? Only one or two postings?!?!!? I'll let it drop at that!!!!!!!!!!! This site would be loaded if people were pissed....................

Yes, we are quick to complain and ever so slow to praise. We are dam lucky that we got power so quickly - look at those poor folks in the quad cities that are "in the dark". So many have had to toss all their food in refrigerator/freezer, find someplace to stay, and then some creeps have the cajones to break into businesses with no power. We had a lot of damage, but by gawd everyone that could was out helping others.

Let's hope that we had so few posters 'cause everyone is busy cutting up trees or hauling them away. Bless 'em!
