Large weather we had at 05:30 this monring, huh?  Little hard to get around town.  We finally got power back on around 11am (for good).  Had several glitches in between then (mostly outages).  West Side Store was packed around 8am.  Nobody else seemed to have gas OR coffee!  Had to wait in line for coffee.  Still had a couple of my favorite breakfast buns though.  Shortly I won't have to worry about having any trees to cut down, I won't HAVE any trees!  This IS starting to get old!  I guess nobody'll admit that the climate is changing.  Brian from West Side said that 95 mph straightline winds were clocked around 5:30am.  I know our whole house was shaking!  Anyway, we made it through another one.  By the way, when looking for coffee/dognuts this morning, went past the Western Mall.  Roof is on top of cars, AND in Musser Park again.  Not a good thing!  Have a GREAT day folks, and, stay safe!  Tom.

Shoveling Snow I can't wait to see what this winter will be like.

Yes, we were up early - the "bright" part was all that dang lightning! Tom, Steamboat Landing at Mulberry and Bypass was also packed. They were doing a land office business with everything - gas, coffee, donuts, and a lot of their "express food".

One of my kids lost some HUGE trees at Meca Cebba - just missed the house by inches. I saw that Weed Park had a lot of trees down again. The trees have taken a huge hit in the last few years.

Lots of people ended up with no work today because of no power. Big economic impact as well.

Let's declare a moratorium on storms. I certainly have had enough! Scares me half to death.

Hi Tom,

Not trying to make light of the situation or anything, but I have to ask...

You said: "By the way, when looking for coffee/dognuts this morning, went past the Western Mall..."

I'm curious... how often do you go looking for "dognuts?"
