It has to do with another thread Marydave, but I think you know that.

Interesting. I click on keyword, 'Wall' in a discussion from our community and I end up here. So, I'll add to the post. I loved Hip Hop in the beginning days. It was fun and interesting to see the talent perform. I didn't care or couldn't understand a lot of the lyrics. The music had a good beat sometimes. I don't care for the darker hip-hop though, only hip-hop with a postivie message. I like the way you explain that hip-hop is lyrics put to a beat. I never knew that or thougth about it but it now makes sense. I'll listen to anything to check it out. Send me a cd if you like. Ask me for my address and I'll give it to you. MySpace would be a good place to put up a site for any groups as you can put up tunes for sampling and then get comments back.

My one gripe about Hip-Hop today is the proliference and spreading of the super loud sub-sonic frequencies that are eminating from vehicles today. People with these systems have no consideration for anyone but themselves. They will drive up right behind you while you are waiting for a light to change to get the hell away from them as they blare the subs. It's annoying as hell to me and I'm sure a lot of others. Peace and quiet is so hard to come by these days. I moved last year to get away from a neighborhood that got so bad that I could not get a good rest and it was affecting my work and my life. I'm now having to deal with the same problem in the new neighborhood but it hasn't gotten as bad, yet. One day I hope to be able to move to a desert and live underground. I think that is the only way I will find peace and quiet. Keep the hip-hop in the clubs, keep it off the street!

T-Styles,

Do you make the beats or write music?

Do you have a website or a my space?

I don't make beats or rap, i am merely doing the promotional side of the project.  I did all the graphics/artwork for the cover and myspace page, flyers, etc, and am doing the local promotions for the cd.
