that's what you get with a one party system,"the republicrats"! while everyone is not checking facts, watching fox and cnn for facts or just not caring, they are passing laws that are attacks on the constitution, laws that are invading our privacy, laws that are harming us. we the people have the power to control the government, we the people are responsible to our grand children to protect liberty.
Seriously folks, do you truly believe that the last 6 yrs our government has been acting in our best interest! the patriot act 1 & 2, the military commission act of 06', the national ID, the Iraq war, the Afghan war and a whole lot of presidential directives and executive orders! No I think they act in the best interest of themselves and corporations! with action like these; nafta, drcafta, amnesty and the wars, who interest are those. I did not benefit from them nor my friends or family. in fact the economy is messed up, jobs are being loss, prices are at record highs, housing starts down 75%, small business all over the country are on the verge of closing, the housing burst has yet to bottom out, banks are failing and we are on the verge of yet another war.
What do you not see that is going on. Go and check there voting records, go look at grassley's, he is a corporate sellout, he does not care about Iowa. Grassley almost always votes for oil and corporations. they take money from oil corporations and others, why would they vote against these companies and vote for you and me! wake up people these people are out of control and we have let this happen. Harkin, king and all the others, and not just Iowa, check all of them. then you will start to see just what they are doing. remember hitler was elected and his laws were passed until he started his rain of terror!
Now I know we as humans believe people are basically good at heart, but there are very bad people in all walks of life. Now we all know about enron and other big companies that did bad things or harmed people for a profit. Do you really believe there are not men like these in our government, who would do bad things or harm people for a profit. C'mon just look at Cheney and halliburton and Kellogg, brown and root. do you think it is a coincidence that cheney was halliburton's ceo, that these two companies(which KB&R are halliburton's sister company) have massive government contracts. I think they are laughing at us all the way to the bank!
Think of it like this, America is a boat and it does not matter what side you are on if the boat sinks! democrats and republicans are driving us over the falls. We the people are doing nothing but gripping about it and then we just vote for the same smucks. Is that not insanity. mahalo i'm out!
