Wondering if anyone else has checked out Craigslist.com   ?   My sister told me about it and I listed some items on there which sold pretty quickly.  It's a pretty good deal-free classified ads basically without the ebay expenses or hassle of having a garage sale.     They even have 'free stuff' on there.

I' been using it for a couple of years now. The only problem with it is the amount of scammers on there, you have to be careful. It pays to firmly believe the "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is" theory though. Just went to southwestern  Missouri a month or so ago to buy a car there from craigslist. Have sold several items thru it also.

You are right, proceed with caution. Look it over good because you are buying from a stranger.

I have bought a few things there and came out ok, but I also have saw a few scams.
